Karen Dotrice is a British former child actress, best known for her role as Jane Banks in the 1964 Disney musical film, Mary Poppins. She first appeared as Mary McDhui in the 1963 Disney fantasy film, The Three Lives of Thomasina and later played Elizabeth in the 1967 Disney musical film, The Gnome-Mobile.
Karen Dotrice reprised her role in the 1990-ish Read-Along version of Mary Poppins as an adult Jane narrating the story. Her father, Roy Dotrice, was also a notable Read-Along narrator.
In 1986, she married Alex Hyde White, and they had one child together - a son named Garrick Hyde White. The two divorced in 1992. In 1994, she married Ned Nalle, to whom she is still married to, and they have two children together - a daughter named Isabella Nalle, and a son named Griffin Nalle.
In 2004, she was named a Disney Legend.
She made a cameo in the 2018 sequel, Mary Poppins Returns as the elegant woman.
