Kaleidoscothic V: Hollow Vision is a 2042 American computer-animated gothic superhero mystery comedy film produced by Thirty-8 Animations and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the fifth entry in the Kaleidoscothic film series. It is based on 'Hollow Vision', the fifth entry of the web comic anthology series 'Kaleidoscothic' created by Reloaxa, who directed and wrote the film.



Film Summary[]

A teen goth ends up in a near fatal accident after coming into contact with some electrical current near the graveyard, but it came with a benefit - he now posses powers of the undead and can see dead people roaming about Hellville. He makes a deal with a bone sorcerer to bring his deceased brother back, but this leads to a catastrophic consequence he must now fix with his new found powers.

Kaleidoscothic V: Hollow Vision was acclaimed by critics for embracing the gothic tone of the franchise, as well as it's story, characters, humour, frights and action. The review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes reports that 93% of critics gave the film a positive review based on 167 reviews, with an average score of 7.5/10. The site's consensus states: “In Kaleidoscothic V: Hollow Vision, the emphasis on the gothic is higher than any previous entry and combined with great writing and characters, this makes for a fun, suspenseful and hilarious flick." Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 from top reviews from mainstream critics, calculated a score of 84 based on 40 reviews, indicating "Universal acclaim." In CinemaScore polls, cinema audiences gave Kaleidoscothic V: Hollow Vision an average score of "A" on an A+ to F scale.
