"Jingle Bells" is one of the best known and commonly sung Christmas songs in the world. It was written by James Lord Pierpont and published under the title "One Horse Open Sleigh" in 1857. Despite being widely regarded as a Christmas song, it is said to have been written about Thanksgiving.
This song is featured in many Disney's Sing-Along Songs videos. It can also be heard several times in The Santa Clause, most notably when Scott Calvin is seeing a doctor and the doctor listens to his heartbeat.
This song is also featured in the Disney Junior Holiday Party! stage show and its soundtrack Disney Junior Music Holiday Party! The Album, which is sung by Minnie Mouse. Notably, this is considered the first song performed by Kaitlyn Robrock, who is the new voice of Minnie, following Russi Taylor's death in July of 2019.
