James Mathew "Jim" Hanks is an American actor, voice artist, director, producer, cinematographer, and camera operator. He is the younger brother of Tom Hanks and uncle of Colin Hanks.
For Disney, he is the occasional voice of Woody in the Pixar Toy Story franchise when his brother is unavailable, with Woody being one of two roles that the brothers share. He also voiced Captain Wilson in the Milo Murphy's Law episode "The Note" and Murray the Muffin Man in Goldie & Bear.

- He is also known as the voice of Geoffrey in the Toys R Us commercials. Coincidentally, Geoffrey is Tom Hanks' middle name (spelled Jeffrey).
- He and Tom were not raised together in their childhood. After their parents Amos and Janet divorced in 1961, Jim lived with his mother while Tom and their other two siblings Larry and Sandra remained with their father.
