Jennifer Lynn Lopez, commonly referred to by her moniker J.Lo, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, dancer, and producer. In 1991, she appeared as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. She is best known for starring in a variety of films, in which she received a Golden Globe nomination, portraying Selena from the 1997 Warner Bros film of the same title, and for voicing Azteca on the DreamWorks 1998 film, Antz, Shira in the Ice Age franchise, and Lucy Tucci on the DreamWorks 2015 film, Home.
For Disney, she posed as Princess Jasmine in "Where a Whole New World Awaits" in the Disney Dream Portrait Series. She also played Miss Marquez in the 1996 Hollywood Pictures film, Jack, Gertie Steiney in the Miramax Films film, Jersey Girl, and Paulina in Shall We Dance?. In addition, she produces the Freeform TV show, The Fosters. She was mentioned in an episode of Lab Rats: Elite Force.
