Eric Marlon Bishop (known professionally as Jamie Foxx) is an American actor, singer, songwriter, record producer, and comedian, best known for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the 2004 biographical film, Ray, which earn him an Academy Award, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild Award, Critics' Choice Movie Award, and Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. He also played the title role in Quentin Tarantino's revisionist Western film, Django Unchained, Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Will Stacks in the 2014 remake of Annie, and voiced Nico the canary in Blue Sky's Rio films.
For Disney, he voiced Joe Gardner and Mr. Mittens when possessed by him as a cat in the 2020 Disney/Pixar film, Soul. He will reprise his role as Max Dillon/Electro in the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Spider-Man: No Way Home.
