Jack Frost is the spirit of winter and a character in the Life and Adventures of Santa Claus.
Background[]
Jack Frost is the son of the Frost King, the spirit of winter, and a good friend of Santa Claus, although he doesn't always trust the toymaker. The Frost King never likes his son getting into mischief, but Jack just can't help himself. The Frost Prince always brings winter everywhere he goes and is always nipping at your nose unless he can resist. When winter is around, you never can tell where Jack Frost might be or what he might be up to.
Jack is a slender spirit with white hair and eyebrows as well as blue eyes. He wears a white shirt, a blue coat and pants, blue shoes tipped with snowflakes, blue gloves, and a light blue scarf. He carries a scepter of ice with a snowflake on top.
Appearance[]
In the movie, Jack is first seen waving goodbye to Santa as he sets out on Christmas Eve before Herb begins the story.
In the story during winter, Herb calls Claus asking him to come out of the house and see Jack who wants to see him since Jack hates heat. Claus comes out to talk to Jack. Jack explains that it's a perfect day to nip noses of children, but Claus reasons with him not to as well as reminds him about his father, so Jack promises that he'll try to resist and then leaves.
Soon, as Santa heads out for his toy delivery on Christmas Eve, Jack is seen looking up at the flying sleigh and waves to Santa who waves back. In the end, Jack and the Immortals welcome Santa back from his toy delivery.

Jack appears in the video game as a non-playable character. He is one of the characters the players can interact with.the
Trivia[]
- Jack did not appear the Rankin/Bass TV special or the Universal movie, but he will appear in the Disney film while his father is to only be mentioned.
- Jack Frost is similar to his many counterparts, including the one in Rise of the Guardians.
