Hegata is the main antagonist of Disney's 2025 animated feature film The Prince and the Waitress. She's a an evil witch and a fairy who is able to transform one of her nationality into a differences, and seeks to take over Maldonia.

Background

Like Dr. Facilier from the original film, Hegata's past is also unknown. She is revealed to be from America and spend rest of her life learning magics and becoming a magician to the King and Queen. However, her magics begin to be very dangerous and was cast out of the city as banishment.

Personality

Unlike Facilier who is very smooth-talking and talented, Hegata is an evil being and resembles the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz, Magica De Spell, and Maleficent.

Hegata is first seen deep in the wood of Maldonia where she learns that Prince Naveen has returned to his kingdom along his wife Tiana who is called the Princess.
