Harry Julius Shearer is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, screenwriter, musician, author, radio host, director, and producer, who is best known for his long-running roles as Ned Flanders, Charles Montgomery Burns, Principal Seymour Skinner, Lenny Leonard, Waylon Smithers, Otto Mann, Reverend Lovejoy, Kent Brockman, Dr. Julius Hibbert, Rainier Wolfcastle, Jasper Beardly, Herman Hermann, Dewey Largo, Officer Eddie, Judge Schnider, and various other characters in the long-running Fox animated TV series The Simpsons since 1989. He is also known for his work on Saturday Night Live, the comedy band Spinal Tap, and his radio program Le Show.
For Disney, he voiced the Dog Announcer in the 2005 Disney animated feature film Chicken Little and reprised the role again in the video game of the same name. He also played Guido Finucci in the 1991 Touchstone Pictures film Oscar. Additionally, he made a guest appearance as himself in the television special Walt Disney World's 15th Anniversary Celebration.
