Hey. I'm Girlmax, your also personal healthcare companion.
―Girlmax introducing herself to her patient[src]

Girlmax is the deuteragonist of Disney's 2023 animated feature film Big Hero 6 2. She is an inflatable computerized robot created by Miko Hamada to serve as a personal healthcare companion and Baymax's mate. She became a member of the superhero team known as Big Hero 6.

Personality[]

By design, Girlmax is selfless, caring, and extremely devoted to her patients. She looks to improve the world's health by any means necessary, and will willingly go to great lengths to achieve her programmed goal. Though highly knowledgeable in the medical field, she is slightly naïve and childlike. She is very calm, even in dangerous situations, and is somewhat slow in processing things around her that don't involve health. Girlmax is also very curious of her surroundings and tends to get easily distracted. Her docile personality comes from a healthcare programming chip created by Miko. When installed, Girlmax is soft-spoken, polite and attentive.

Physical appearance[]

Girlmax is a helper robot, who provides assistance to the host or guest within her presence. She is an inflatable black robot with her metal parts built from inside. They are only visible when one looks deep inside through her inflatable vinyl material. Girlmax's external structure resembles the appearance of a cute, black fluffy snowwoman, or, as Miko calls her, a big black marshmallow. A small heart-shaped access port is placed on the left side of her chest that can hold up to four cartridge chips at a time to contain her initial programming and any additional programming.

In her superhero form, she is upgraded with pink and purple protective armor. While in this form, she has the ability to fly with the aid of two foot-equipped rocket thrusters and back-mounted wings and can fight thanks to the reinforced durability the armor offers. This armor is also more flexible in that it possesses tremendous strength while at the same time it is more light-looking and sleek in design.
