Gil is a character who appears in the Disney Channel films Descendants 2 and Descendants 3. He is the son of Gaston and starts as an antagonist but later reforms.

Trivia

• Due to his low intelligence, he is often used solely for brute force by Uma, and forgets not to use her hated nickname "Shrimpy".
• He thinks penguins can be found in a jungle.
• Gil likes pets, having only the stag head in his dad's man cave as a poor stand in.
• Has no filter, he says whatever he wants whenever he wants.
• As of the third film, Gil decides to explore Auradon with Jay, having inspired him to see more the world.
• In Rise of the Isle of the Lost: A Descendants Novel, it is revealed that Gil is the younger brother of Gaston, Jr. and Gaston III.
• Gil was seen kissing Harry Hook, however, it was never scripted or directed and was an improvised scene between the two actors. But it was mentioned in the novelization of the film Descendants 2.
