General Mouse is a mouse and a character from The Animal Quartet.
Background[]
The General of the mice may look cute, but he's very serious. Though a good friend of Elizabeth, he and his troops will do anything for anyone who is in need as long as they're not enemies.
He is a white mouse in a green soldier uniform with a baton unlike the rest of his fellow mice.
Appearances[]
In the movie, General Mouse is seen at the rich woman's manor house hiding behind a vase as he watches Elizabeth being scolded by her mistress who wants her to catch the mice and threatens to drown her if she doesn't, since the rich woman hates mice. Once the rich woman is in bed, Elizabeth knows she has to escape, but she can't with the security system on since her mistress won't let her leave until all the mice are caught. The general shows up telling Elizabeth that he will free her. He scurries behind the wall, telling his minions to hack the security system, which they do by gnawing the wires. Once the system is dead, General Mouse returns to Elizabeth telling her she's free to go. Promising to join her as soon as they can, he also tells the cat that he and his troops have one last thing to do; he guides them into the rich woman's bedroom where they scare her the next morning to get revenge on her.
When the quartet is imprisoned by the Music-meister for defying his music ban and Vladimir T. Owl reminds them not to give up on their dreams and work together, Stevenson and his friends come to their senses, they know they have to get out somehow. Fortunately, the mice appear because Vlad brought them, promising he wouldn't eat them. Elizabeth is glad to see her mouse friends again. Having already hacked the security system, General Mouse orders his troops to unlock each cell, which they do. Once everyone is free, Stevenson thanks and compliments the mice who thank Vlad for not eating them, then the rodents lead the prisoners out the prison.
In the end, the general and his army watch the Animal Quartet's concert and cheer when it is over.

General Mouse appears in the Animal Quartet video game as a non-playable character. He is one of a few characters the players can talk to and helps Elizabeth escape.

- Like his troops, General Mouse can talk to other animals while he only squeaks to the rich woman.
