General Armitage Hux is Kylo Ren's rival and the general of the military forces of the First Order. He is a major antagonist in the Star Warssequel trilogy and of the animated series Star Wars Resistance.
Along with Kylo Ren and Phasma, Hux leads the First Order against the Resistance on behalf of Supreme Leader Snoke, until Snoke's death and his rival becoming the new Supreme Leader. Because he despises Kylo and disapproves his methods to lead the First Order, his frustration reached to the point that he started to spy for the Resistance just to see Kylo Ren defeated and be able to claim the Supreme Leader title for himself.
