Finding Axel (2006 film)

Finding Axel is a 2007 American animated musical comedy-drama film directed by Larry Latham and distributed by the Walt Disney Company. It is the sequel to the 2004 film Finding Dennis.

Production

Talks of a sequel started soon after the release of Finding Dennis and it was said that it should be centered entirely on the character of Axel.

The production for the sequel started on February 2005.

Voice Cast

The voice actors of the respective characters from the first film return to this film, with the exception of Jodi Benson, Quentin Tarantino, Robert De Niro, Billy West, Sandra Bullock and Bob Peterson.

And new voice actors join the cast, such as Dustin Hoffman, Tia Carrere, Eddie Murphy, Anna Faris, Richard Gere, Kurt Russell and Charlie Sheen.

Release Date

The film was release in theaters on March, 12 2007.

DVD Release

The DVD Edition was release on September, 9 2007.

Sequel

In July 2007, two months after the release of Finding Axel, Disney announced a third film in the saga, and that it would be the last. It was called Joy & Fantasy and hit theaters in the summer of 2009.
