It is a town set in a dream-like/fantasy universe that doesn't exist in the Five Nights at Freddy's universe. All animatronic characters from the franchise coexist and live in peace and harmony.

Locations from the real universe of Five Nights at Freddy's are present within Fazbear Hills, only as fictionalized versions.

Fazbear Hills is a large town surrounded by an evergreen forest with many trees (that lead to places outside of the town).

Freddy's home (where he lives with the rest of his crew and the Toy Animatronics) is a castle. The two neighboring castles belong to Fredbear, Spring Bonnie, Lolbit, the Puppet, Balloon Boy, and JJ.

Several windmills and trees are seen throughout the town. Other locations in the town include Fazbear's Fright from Five Nights at Freddy's 3, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza from Five Nights at Freddy's and its 1992 sequel, and the home of Chris and Terrence from Five Nights at Freddy's 4.

  • After the events of Five Nights at Freddy's 4, the home of Chris and Terrence, in their dream/nightmare, has since been abandoned, now that Chris has gotten over his fears. Since then, the house has been inhabited by the Nightmares as they still exist as imaginations and has become part of the fantasy world.
  • Fazbear's Fright from Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is the home of Goldie, Springtrap, and the Phantoms.
  • Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in the film is a combination of both pizzeria's from Five Nights at Freddy's and Five Nights at Freddy's 2. Freddy Fazbear and his friends spend their time there for entertainment.
  • The Withered Animatronics take care of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and presumably live there.
  • The characters are aware that they aren't real and are in a fantasy world.
