When the steering wheel on Sugar Rush breaks due to a fight between the part and Swati and Nafisa, several kids in the arcade find a new one on eBay. Unfortunately, it costs $200 to buy the replacement, indicating that Mr. Litwak cannot afford it. So Ralph and Vanellope enter the world of the Internet to find the part themselves by going to the site the kids showed to Litwak.
The two bid for the missing part before the other customer wins the steering wheel as the auctioneer gives the item to Ralph and Vanellope. Trying to exit, Ralph and Vanellope pass by eBay Elayne who tells the two that they need to pay the total cost of $27,001 which the two do not have. Elayne then warns the two that if they do not buy the item within the next 24 hours, it will be forfeited.
Later at BuzzzTube, Ralph manages to make videos to earn money for the steering wheel in which he successfully does so. After going over the cost, Ralph calls the Eboy to take him back to eBay. Ralph then purchases it before it becomes forfeited as Vanellope tries to stare at "important" water as told by Mulan earlier in the film, which later reflects as Vanellope ends up in Slaughter Race.
Trivia[]
Throughout the scene, certain items, such as Genie's Lamp, Rapunzel's Frying Pan, and one of Vladimir's ceramic unicorns can be seen.
Also, the taxidermy beaver shown as one of the items is actually a reused model of one of the beavers from Zootopia, another film directed by Rich Moore (who is also the director of Ralph Breaks the Internet). However, the taxidermy beaver shown in the film is quadrupedal, not anthropomorphic.
In the 2003Pixar film, Finding Nemo, Peach mentioned that she was bought from eBay while staying in Philip Sherman's aquarium.
