Disney nuiMOs are plush dolls of Disney characters with interchangeable clothing that quickly gained popularity on social media since their original launch in Japan on November 1, 2018. The name "nuiMOs" is a blend of the Japanese words "nuigurumi" (ぬいぐるみ) meaning "plush" and "moderu" meaning "model".
Subsequently released in Hong Kong and Shanghai Disneyland through 2019 and 2020, nuiMOs’ continued success led to an extended release in North America and Europe on January 19, 2021, with six characters (Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Stitch and Angel) owners could dress in seventeen different outfits from their first "Fashion Collection".

As a new collection of nuiMOs' clothes is to be released on the first day of each month, Ashley Eckstein (actress and designer) and Wes Jenkins (Disney artist) surprised fans with nine "Everyday cosplay" sets in February, presenting outfits related to Alice, the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Woody, Bo Peep, Oogie Boogie and Star Wars' rebel pilots.
On March 1, 2021 the "Fashion collection #2" came alongside two new plushes of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.
Mini Loungefly backpacks and Spirit Jerseys also progressively appear on the different Disney Store and shopDisney websites involved. Other accessories should follow soon.
