Dennis Dexter Haysbert is an American film and television actor and voice actor, known for his distinctive deep voice. He is best known for his role as David Palmer in the action-drama TV series 24 and as God in Lucifer. He is also known for TV commercials, one of which is the Allstate insurance spokesman. In addition, he voiced Kale in DreamWorks' Sinbad Legend of the Seven Seas and Maser Storming Ox in DreamWorks' Kung Fu Panda 2.
For Disney, he voiced General Hologram in the 2012 Disney animated feature film, Wreck-It Ralph, and played Dr. Garrett in the 2019 Fox film, Breakthrough.
