The dark samurai are among many Disney Villains who are congregated by Prince Hans Westergaard of the Southern Isles to aid him in killing Dave Seville as they're convinced that Dave's mistreatment of the Chipmunks and the Chipettes is disgraceful, and therefore must be stopped instantly. During the assault of the Angel Grove suburbs, one of them mounting one of their winged kirin is shot down by the Angel Grove military police battalion of the California Army National Guard, sending him killing two of the Angel Grove Police Department officers in a patrol car crash, but a few more of them manage to use their bushidō abilities to emit powerful dark magic to take down the authorities' guard dogs, vehicles and weaponry, effectively killing most of the authorities one by one. Outside the Seville House, multiple dark samurai may be difficult to be seen helping Hans destroy Dave by lighting Disney Park-themed fireworks rigged around the warheaded Dip barrel to be launched towards him with their torches.
After the murder of Dave Seville, while King Mickey Mouse and his beloved wife Queen Minnie Mouse are adopting Alvin and company from foster care, and welcoming them into their castle in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, the dark samurai are seen at Chernabog's conference celebrating their successful victory over Dave's death at their hands. Some even attempt to stop Tommy Oliver from fleeing but fail.
