== Personality ==
Ciena mainly appears as savvy and cheerful. She also tends to be adventurous, gentle, determined, honest, conceited, and intelligent. 

== Role in the Film ==
In "Operation Record", Ciena is a Shetland Sheepdog who lives in Fort Worth, Texas and serenades the other dogs in the city. She becomes rivaled by a parrot named Bertram, who appears to be able to sing better than Ciena. This leads to a competition. In the end, Ciena wins and her and Bertram becomes friends.

In "A Very Ciena Christmas", Ciena is shown with The Birches, enjoying Christmas. At the end of the night, she wishes to find her true love. It then cuts to the next year's Christmas time, and Ciena still hasn't found her true love. She meets a Chow Chow named Eric, who takes her to the North Pole overnight. She also meets her brother Dav there. At the end of the movie, Ciena finds out that home is where the heart is, and that family is more important than finding someone to love.

== Trivia ==
* Ciena made a cameo in the 2006 Christmas film "Nores' Christmas Havoc", which was made 7 years before her own Christmas film, "A Very Ciena Christmas".
* "Operation Record" and the 2001 feature film "Flan, The Puppy Of Dreams" apparently take place in the same universe, as Ciena made a cameo in "Nores' Christmas Havoc", and Flan made a cameo in "A Very Ciena Christmas".
* Ciena was given the power of Dimension Hopping in "A Very Ciena Christmas. It is unknown if she still has this after the film.
