Christy Carlson Romano is an American actress, voice actress, and singer, who rose to fame for her starring role as Ren Stevens in Even Stevens. She is best known for her voice work as the title character in the Disney Channel animated series, Kim Possible and made a cameo appearance as Poppy Blu in the live-action film of the same name. She also played Jennifer Stone in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Cadet Kelly and voiced Yuffie in the video game, Kingdom Hearts. From February to September 2004, she played Belle in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast. She also provided the voice of bot-fighter Trina in Big Hero 6: The Series.

- She is one of the only Disney actresses/actors that have voiced/portrayed three iconic characters and to have voiced a Kingdom Hearts character.
- She changed her middle name from Michelle to Carlson after her mother's maiden name.
- She was unable to audition for the part of Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries, due to scheduling conflicts on Even Stevens.
