Synopsis[]
It was Christmas Eve in Brussels, Belgium. Marie-Louise, a young Belgian girl, was waiting for Santa Claus to come and bring her gifts. She had been a good girl all year, and she was so excited to see what Santa would bring her. Marie-Louise sat by the window, looking out at the snow falling. She could hear the bells ringing from the church down the street, and she could smell the delicious food cooking in the kitchen. She was so happy and excited. Suddenly, she saw a figure in the distance. It was Santa Claus! He was coming down the chimney! Marie-Louise jumped up and down with excitement. Santa Claus came into the room and smiled at Marie-Louise. "Ho ho ho!" he said. "Merry Christmas, Marie-Louise!" "Merry Christmas, Santa!" Marie-Louise said. "I've been a good girl all year!" Santa Claus laughed. "I know you have," he said. "That's why I've brought you a special gift." Santa Claus reached into his bag and pulled out a beautiful doll. It was a princess doll, with long blonde hair and a sparkling gown. Marie-Louise was so happy! She hugged Santa Claus and thanked him. "You're welcome," Santa Claus said. "Now, it's time for me to go. But before I go, I have something else to show you." Santa Claus waved his hand, and suddenly, the room was filled with light. Marie-Louise gasped. She couldn't believe her eyes. The room had turned into an animated world! There were characters from all of her favorite cartoons, like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. They were all there, waving and smiling at her. Marie-Louise was so happy! She ran over to the characters and started to play with them. She had so much fun, and she didn't want it to end. But eventually, it was time for Santa Claus to go. He waved goodbye to Marie-Louise and the characters, and then he disappeared. Marie-Louise was sad to see Santa Claus go, but she knew that she would never forget this Christmas Eve. It was the best Christmas Eve ever!
