Brendan James Fraser is a Canadian-American actor. He is well is known for his comedic and fantasy film leading roles in major Hollywood films, such as Richard "Rick Ricochet" O'Connell in The Mummy trilogy.
For Disney, he played George of the Jungle in the 1997 Disney film, of the same name, Alden Pyle in The Quiet American, and Link in Encino Man, Son in Law, and In the Army Now. Although he didn't reprise his role as George in George of the Jungle 2, he was mentioned in the film.

- He was considered for the role of Inspector Gadget, along with Kevin Kline, Steve Carell, Chevy Chase, and Steve Martin, but turned the role down due to working on George of the Jungle (1997). However, Matthew Broderick was cast instead.
- He was considered for the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. However, Ewan McGregor was cast at the end.
