Beats the Cat is one of the main characters of the Pixar film Primrose Path. Beats is a small anthropomorphic cat from Detroit, Michigan and of the songwriters of Autumn Garden Productions, choosing the company because of his love of the music written by Blues Bear of Primrose Path. He is the second friend Krystal Mercado made when she first came to the company and became a member of the new Primrose Path gang.
