Ayo Edebiri is an American actress, comedian, and writer. She has acted in numerous productions, with a couple of her most notable being voicing April O'Neil in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Glory Grant in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. She has also acted in How It Ends, Bottoms, The Sweet East, Big Mouth, Dickinson, Black Mirror, and Clone High.
For Disney, she voices Professor Totsy in Kiff and Envy in Disney/Pixar's 2024 film Inside Out 2. She also played Ayesha Teagues in the ABC comedy Abbot Elementary. Additionally, she has done FX and Hulu productions playing Janet Walch in Theater Camp, Eve Stone in The Premise, Sydney Adamu in The Bear (of which she won an Emmy for her role), Japheth's Wife in History of the World, Part II, and is a writer on What We Do in the Shadows.
She was initially cast in Thunderbolts* as Mel, but due to scheduling conflicts brought on by the 2023 labor strikes involving W.G.A. and SAG-AFTRA, she was recast with Geraldine Viswanathan.
