Summery[]
After being given to a hotel as a kitten, Arnold was hoping to get pick by one of the guesses. But no body wanted him. One day, a grumpy man had checked in and Arnold will spark a friendship between him and the man.
Plot[]
At the Anderson House Hotel, in Wabasha, Minnesota, the clerk was organizing the lobby desk when he'd heard a knock on the door. He opened the door and found nobody, except a basket with a kitten in it. The clerk took the basket inside and lifted the kitten into his arms. He found a note in the basket that says, "Please, find this kitten a home." The clerk then promised the kitten, which he'd named Arnold, to find him a new home. As the days go by Arnold tried to get picked by the guesses, but Arnold was very shy making it difficult getting picked.
Three years later, Arnold, now a full grown cat, mops in sadness about not getting picked and his friends reassured him that he'll find someone to be with. Arnold smiled and thanked his friends for cheering him up. In the lobby the maid had told the clerk that Arnold still needs a home and the clerk knows that he'll find one someday.
Meanwhile, at a gas station down the street, a man named George had just pulled up with a broken down car with a man inside. George told the man, Horace Blumpoe, that his car wouldn't be fixed until morning and Horace wasn't happy about.
