Anna Kay Faris is an American actress and producer. She has been mainly recognized as a comedic performer for her appearances in numerous comedy films throughout her career. She is well known for voicing Samantha "Sam" Sparks in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and its 2013 sequel, and Jeanette in the live-action Alvin and the Chipmunks film series. She also played Christy Plunkett on the CBS sitcom Mom.
For Disney, she portrayed April in the 2002 Touchstone Pictures film, The Hot Chick.
