Anika Noni Rose is an American actress, voice actress, and singer. She is known for her role as Lorrell Robinson in the 2006 film, Dreamgirls.
For Disney, she provided both the speaking and singing voices of Princess Tiana in Disney's 2009 animated feature film, The Princess and the Frog and its 2025 sequel. In August 2011, she became one of the few African-Americans to be crowned a Disney Legend for her performance in The Princess and the Frog. In December 2014, she provided the speaking and singing voices for Tiana in an episode of Sofia the First. She reprised the role of Tiana in Ralph Breaks the Internet.
She was named a Disney Legend in 2011, breaking Phil Collins record for shortest time between first contribution to the Walt Disney Company and being named a Disney Legend.
