Angelina Jolie, DCMG (née Voight) is an American actress, voice actress, film director, producer, and humanitarian who is known for her roles in Girl, Interuppted, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, Changeling, in which she received an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination. She also voiced Lola in DreamWorks' Shark Tale and Master Tigress in the Kung Fu Panda franchise.
She has also directed, written, and produced several wartime dramas, such as In the Land of Blood and Honey, Unbroken, and First They Killed My Father. She is also a Special Envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Jolie has been cited as one of the most influential and powerful people in the American entertainment industry.
For Disney, she played the titlular character in the 2014 Disney live-action adaptation of Maleficent, and its 2019 sequel and is set to play Thena in the upcoming Marvel movie The Eternals.[1]. She also portrayed Sara "Sway" Wayland in the 2000 Touchstone Pictures film, Gone in 60 Seconds and Claire in the 1997 Touchstone Pictures film, Playing God. In addition, she voiced Stella in The One and Only Ivan, which she also produced.
