David Andrew John "Andy" Samberg is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, writer, rapper, producer, and a member of the comedy group The Lonely Island. He is perhaps best known for being a cast member in the NBC late-night sketch comedy and variety show, Saturday Night Live, from 2005 to 2012, Dale "Cuckoo" Ashbrick in the BBC Three sitcom Cuckoo in 2012, and has starred as detective Jake Peralta in the Fox/NBC sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine from 2013 to 2021. He is also well-known for voicing Ham III in Space Chimps, Brent McHale in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and its 2013 sequel, and Jonathan "Johnny" Loughran in the Hotel Transylvania film series.
For Disney, he guest-starred as himself in the Phineas and Ferb spin-off, Take Two with Phineas and Ferb. He also executive produced the Freeform sitcom, Alone Together. Additionally, he voiced Dale in the Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers film on Disney+.
