Adrian Zander James "A.Z." Smithers is a new hip hop student who is a major character of Hit Entertainment's Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps and is one of the nine tritagonists of the Disney films Angelina Ballerina: The First Movie, Angelina in the Haunted Mansion, Angelina's New Friend and A Big Day At the Fair. He knows about the latest cultural phenomenon, such as the latest handshake, line dance and cheese du jour. He loves hip hop music and dance. He is from New York City. His catchphrase is "A.Z. Mouse is in the house!" He is voiced by Justin Bieber. He is 9 years old.
In Season 3, he will be given a special ninja gear and vehicle. His ninja vehicle has an ejector seat, a GPS, a computer, a satellite dish, a missile UAV that works like a drone and a winch. He carries a special backpack which contains a net, a grappling hook, a tranquilizer, a zip line, a lock pick, a telescope, and amonocle when needed, and he wears a red hoodie, blue jeans, and sneakers. His shoes have suction cups which can be deployed to use as ceiling climbers. He calls them "stick shoes". His costume is almost similar to Chase from Paw Patrol in his Super Spy gear. He also wears a badge with the shape of a yellow ninja star symbol in it. He will also have new catchphrases, such as "A.Z. Ninja Mouse is in the house!" and "Nobody messes with me! If they do, they'll be sorry!"
He will also have a new pet in Season 3. His pet will be a Doberman Pinscher dog named Brock.
In Angelina and the Stupendous Six, A.Z. gains the power of super strength and super sight with the help of his red Power Ring. Like Exile from Road Rovers, his super sight can shoot ice and fire beams from his eyes. He is also super strong.
